What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESEARCH PROGRAM PROJECT MANAGER NEIDL National Emerging Infectious Diseases Finance position at Boston University?
The U19 / P01 Program Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of any NEIDL U19, P01, or other program project initiatives. They will ensure the successful proposal development, submission and post award management including but not limited to planning, implementation and evaluation of the award initiatives. This position is critical to the success to obtaining collaborative program project sponsored awards with the NEIDL which will collaborate with key NEIDL Principal Investigators, investigators within the BU community as well as collaborators at outside institutions.
Required Skills
- Master's degree and 8 years of experience. PhD preferred.
- This position requires a special niche of skills; a combination of scientific knowledge, grantsmanship experience and both pre- / post-award management from federally sponsored agencies.
- Scientific knowledge in microbiology, immunology and infectious diseases is preferred.
