The Non-clinical Studies Unit at Boston University's National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL) works to understand the molecular biology and pathogenesis of viruses that require maximum containment, including Ebola virus and Marburg virus. Research technician's work will involve purchasing of supplies, ensuring equipment functionality, data maintenance, and coordination.Responsibilities : Purchasing supplies and ensuring equipment functionality.Data maintenance and coordination.Ability to work in BSL-3 and BSL-4 laboratories is required.Required Skills : Bachelor's Degree required with 1-3 years of experience. Experience organizing and analyzing data evaluating the efficacy of vaccines and therapeutics.
