- Oversee major sponsored project awards.
- Serve as the focal point between the sponsoring agency and the Principal Investigator in the fiscal administration of grants and contracts.
- Review proposal budgets, keeping abreast with a variety of constantly changing federal regulations.
- Monitor fiscal performance on awards.
- Prepare final financial reports of expenditures.
- Initiate grant closeout process.
- Assist and instruct Principal Investigator(s) and their staff in grant management procedures.
- Handle billing and collecting and resolve over expenditure problems.
- Perform a variety of analytical and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with accounting principles, sponsor requirements, federal and state guidelines and University policies.
