Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chef de Cuisine . As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, from menu development to staff management and quality control. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate culinary leader to make a significant impact in our restaurant and in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Development : Create and continuously refine a diverse, seasonal menu that reflects our commitment to contemporary American cuisine. Incorporate feedback from guests and stay current with culinary trends to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
  • Kitchen Management : Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maintain high employee morale and productivity.
  • Quality Control : Maintain consistent quality and presentation of dishes, ensuring that every plate meets our high standards. Implement rigorous quality control measures to uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Operational Oversight : Oversee kitchen operations, including scheduling, ordering, and maintaining equipment. Develop and implement efficient kitchen procedures to enhance productivity and profitability.
  • Financial Management : Manage food costs, labor costs, and other operational expenses to meet budgetary goals. Develop strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Expertise in contemporary American cuisine with a keen eye for detail.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • A genuine passion for food, creativity, and culinary innovation. Ability to inspire and motivate a team while maintaining a positive and dynamic work environment.
  • Compensation

  • 70,000 to $95,000 base salary based on experience. Performance-based bonuses.
