We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host to join our dynamic team at Bostonia Public House. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in setting the tone for their dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of service. Key Responsibilities
Warmly welcome and greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
Manage the reservation system and ensure an organized and efficient seating process.
Escort guests to their tables and provide them with initial information about the menu and specials.
Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate wait times to guests.
Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and accurate seating.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional manner.
Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, such as updating reservation records and handling phone calls.
Uphold the restaurant’s standards for cleanliness, organization, and overall guest experience.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role or a customer-facing position is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
