Requirements for Nurse Unit Manager:
- Current Massachusetts nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Licensure as an Registered Nurse strongly preferred
- Experience with electronic medical record
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid leadership abilities
Job Duties for Nurse Unit Manager:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Mentor RN/LPN Staff Nurses
- Provide guidance to our Nursing Assistants
- Monitor training for new orients
- Ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care
- Greet new admissions and participate in discharge planning
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
- Direct workflow efficiently within time constraints
- Contribute to QAPI analysis and initiatives
The successful Nurse Unit Manager candidate will report to the Director of Nursing and collaborate with our Assistant Director of Nursing/Staff Development Coordinator to foster patient-centered nursing care.
