POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Director will serve as a strategic partner to the Bostrom leadership team. This role is designed to optimize organizational performance through coordination and management of cross-functional activities. The Program Director will act as a trusted confidant and ensure seamless communication and collaboration across functional areas.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES
Executive Support
- Provide high-level strategic and tactical support to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Assist in decision-making processes by coordinating and gathering necessary information from leadership, and providing analysis, and recommendations.
- Act as a liaison between the CGO, CMO, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional department meetings, ensuring preparedness and follow-up on action items.
Planning and Execution
- Project manage the implementation of strategic initiatives and projects, outlining key
priorities and timelines.
- Monitor progress and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Identify and resolve issues that may impede project success.
Operational Efficiency
- Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in managing budgets and resource allocation for key projects and initiatives.
Communication and Alignment
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organization.
- Draft and review internal/external communications, presentations, and reports.
- Organize and lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Act as a point of contact for critical and time-sensitive issues.
- Other duties may be assigned that are required for this position.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, management or equivalent experience required.
- Association Management experience is preferred.
- 5 -7 years of experience in a strategic, operational, or executive support role.
- Proven track record of leading and managing complex projects and initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office products and experience with program management systems.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with strong skills in customer service, organization, attention to detail, and data entry.
- Demonstrate personal integrity in all interactions and communications with Bostrom staff and clients.
- Perform effectively under pressure, managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure in challenging situations.
- Collaborate efficiently across departments and with clients, offering assistance and sharing information as needed.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensuring successful interactions with others.
- Exhibit accountability and self-motivation, embracing new responsibilities and challenges with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment with light noise. Work may be frequently interrupted. The employee will spend most of the workday sitting, computing, and talking/hearing. Required lifting (boxes) in the 10-25 lb. range requiring the ability to bend at the waist and knee. OSHA Category III: position whose tasks/duties will not put them at risk for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials, therefore, universal/standard precautions are not required.
SCHEDULE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This is a full-time position. The hours of work are typically Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day. May require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. Up to 15% domestic or international travel may be required.
