Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision, style preferences, and functional needs
- Collaborate with drafters to guide design choices, ensure proper placement of features, and finalize floor plans
- Assist clients in selecting finishes, including cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures, and paint colors
- Provide expert design advice for semi-custom home builds, ensuring aesthetic cohesion and client satisfaction
- Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and material samples to clients
- Manage project timelines, ensuring selections and approvals align with construction schedules
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and emerging residential design techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 2-3 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in residential projects
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients, drafters, and construction teams
- Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
