Job Summary:
Our Client provides property damage emergency services, restoration, and reconstruction services for residential and commercial properties due to water, fire, mold, storm and other disasters. They are part of a global leading organization in the rapidly growing restoration sector. The Emergency Recovery Coordinator must possess strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable entering highly charged and stressful situations. They must be able to build a strong rapport with our Client's customers. ERC’s need to possess the ability to turn an emotionally distraught customer into a satisfied one and leave the customer with a positive lasting impression. The ERC’s primary responsibilities are to be professional, compassionate, courteous, positive and informative. The ERC will be compensated based on their ability to successfully close sales.
Responsibilities:
- Market company brand to multiple channels such as ins claims personnel, agents, adjusters, 3rd party programs, property management companies, relators, fire/police departments and any other applicable avenues
- Create and maintain relationships within above mentioned networking groups
- Get involved in applicable organizations, networking groups, committees, boards, etc.
- Understand insurance trends in claims and adjusting losses
- Be knowledgeable in the insurance industry. Keep up on technologies, equipment, processes, etc.
- Be knowledgeable on building products, new products, building technologies, etc.
- Monitoring of listening devices, websites and news reports to insure 24/7 coverage of all potential property losses within the franchise territory
- Keep records and loss of all dispatched events
- Dispatch all active property loss incidents to "on call" personnel in real time
- Search the Internet to retrieve accurate property data (I.e. ownership, taxes, phone numbers etc.)
- Respond in real time to active property loss scenes in an effort to secure Emergency Work Authorization and promote all aspects of company services
- Secure Emergency Work Authorization signature
- Create damage assessments
- Coordinate emergency response crews & services
- Identify priority services and customer concerns
- Identify hazards for company crews, occupants and trades people
- Verify insurance coverage
- Create "New Loss documentation"
- Ensure cause/origin scene preservation for insurance and investigative purposes
- Improve on practice and procedures
- Follow up with previous loss incidents in which services are declined at time of loss
- Communicate any notes, concerns and customer expectations to all involved company departments and personnel
- Identify and share any potential marketing opportunities with company marketing department
- Be sure all sites are safe and secure
Education, Certification and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Highly organized
- Valid driver's license
- High level communicator and strong interpersonal skills
- Availability to be on call 24/7/365
- Proven ability to close sales and provide quality customer service
Pay Structure:
- $65,000 base pay 1% of closed sales with all in compensation up to $100,000
