Key Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with the Municipal Code and review Municipal Development Applications.
- Attend Land Use Board meetings and prepare reports as required.
- Interact with clients and various departments within the company.
- Analyze engineering sketches, drawings, specifications, plans, and related data to perform necessary reviews.
- Coordinate activities related to technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and construction issues.
- Review project shop drawings.
- Attend project meetings with clients.
- Prepare monthly status reports for review by the clients.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, establish project budgets, and monitor daily progress through project close.
- Complete assignments on schedule and within budget.
- Engage in marketing related to maintaining existing clients and pursuing new opportunities.
- Ensure timely billing and assist with the collection of accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a four-year accredited college/university.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey.
- At least 5 years of related municipal engineering experience.
- Certified Municipal Engineer preferred.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
