Due to continued growth and Client requests, Boswell is seeking additional experienced Junior Electrical Engineers -Assistant Project Managers (APM) with major electrical utility experience to report to our Utilities Project Management Team in our South Hackensack, NJ office (Not a remote position):

Due to continued growth and Client requests, Boswell is seeking additional experienced Junior Electrical Engineers -Assistant Project Managers (APM) with major electrical utility experience to report to our Utilities Project Management Team in our South Hackensack, NJ office (Not a remote position):
Responsibilities:
- Assistant Project Managers work closely with Project Managers on projects that range from replacing a breaker at a substation to an entire new substation and/or transmission line upgrades
- Typical substation projects may be breaker replacement, cap bank heaters, bus work, transformer replacement, control house rehab or replacement, extending a substation yard, or a new substation
- Typical transmission line projects may be replacing insulators, replacing the OPGW, adding circuits, or a new transmission line
- APMs may also be assigned transmission line routing studies
- Our Client provides all necessary training for both the project management system that is utilized and all of the mandated client safety training and FERC training
- APMs are expected to report to our South Hackensack office (not a remote role)
- Adhere to internal and client standards, policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering and/ or Power Systems is required
- Experience: At least one internship or work/ study assignment working on Utility substation or transmission projects is required.
- Some formal project management training is preferred in addition to work experience on electric utility projects
- Client requires US Citizenship or Green Card for site access
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed in NJ
- Desire and willingness to grow and learn quickly
