Summary :
The Exterior Install Project Manager's primary responsibility is leadership of the Exterior Install Department and project management of the installation of Exterior plants, containers, living walls, and other landscaping installations on the Exterior of buildings for the Seattle branch. They are responsible for managing labor and capacity in the Exterior Install department to ensure install jobs are executed within the planned margins and that the branch installs its Exterior jobs promptly and project backlog is kept to a minimum. The Exterior Install Project Manager is a key component of the company's ability to recognize its exterior revenue after a sale is made. Projects include new landscaping installs, seasonal color programs, and small fixes at client accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :
Leadership, management, and Accountability of the Exterior Install Department, to include, hiring, evaluating, coaching, disciplining, and termination of employees within the Exterior install department.Manage installation projects of all sizes for the Exterior Department :Manage install calendar to minimize backlog (dollar amount of opportunities signed but not installed)Manage labor to keep installs within planned margins that were set during quotingReview Opportunities in advance of sending to customer and supply time estimates to the sales team for quoting purposes and respond to approvals in Salesforce as soon as possible.Customer coordination around dates and logistics for installations, from signing through install to include installation date and times, loading dock coordination, freight elevator coordination, employee badging and site access, PPE requirements and coordination with other building trades.Keep the Installation object record updated and accurate at all times to ensure all stakeholders have access to accurate information.Communicate with the Procurement Coordinator on status of items to be installed.Book out necessary rental equipment (scissor lift, boom lift, etc) and arrange for delivery, staging, and pickup.Review installation drawings prior to date of installation with crew and manage team who will perform the installation. Willingness to actively participate in installation alongside crew members, as required.Develop site-specific safety plans as required.Assist other operations departments as requested.Operate a company vehicle as a driverAlways maintain a clean vehicle, ensuring, maintenance and exterior cleanlinessRemove personal items from vehicles daily (lunchboxes, cell phones, garbage, etc.)Adhere to Company vehicle inspection policyReport all accidents (regardless of nature and severity) immediatelyEnsure security of building and vehicles by coordinating with other staff as necessaryOther duties as assigned.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

2-3 years of previous experience in horticulture industry-wholesale or retail nursery, landscape, or growerMust have a valid Washington State Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record.Licenses and Certifications :
