Role Overview: The Technical Documentation & Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and user manuals for our suite of autonomous robots and internal processes. Additionally, you will be the central figure in coordinating compliance efforts and obtaining critical certifications (CE, and others) to enable our expansion into international markets, including Europe, MENA, Australia, and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, author, and maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documentation and user manuals for BotCrew's robotic systems and processes.
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and operations teams to accurately capture system capabilities, features, and maintenance procedures.
- Lead compliance and certification activities by interacting with relevant regulatory bodies and certification authorities.
- Manage the preparation, submission, and follow-up of documentation required for compliance certifications such as CE (Europe), as well as standards relevant to the MENA region, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Stay current on evolving global compliance regulations and standards, proactively communicating changes and their impacts on BotCrew operations and product development.
- Maintain meticulous records of certifications, compliance documents, and technical specifications for regulatory and audit purposes.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on documentation standards, processes, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Writing, Regulatory Affairs, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in technical documentation, technical writing, or compliance management.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in obtaining international compliance certifications, especially CE marking, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks in Europe, MENA, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in technology, robotics, manufacturing, or a similar highly regulated industry is strongly preferred.
