Responsibilities:
This role involves a range of responsibilities including performing inspections during construction of development projects to ensure compliance with County and other regulated codes. The successful candidate will also conduct post-construction inspections of storm water management facilities for compliance with County and other related codes. Additionally, this role involves enforcing County and other related codes as applied to erosion and sediment control measures and storm water management facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections during construction of development projects to ensure compliance with County and other regulated codes.
- Conducts post-construction inspections of storm water management facilities for compliance with County and other related codes.
- Enforces County and other related codes as applied to erosion and sediment control measures and storm water management facilities.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a two (2) year degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in erosion and sediment control and stormwater management is required.
- Certification as a Dual Combined Administrator through the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
