Job Summary:
The position of Erosion and Sediment Control/Stormwater Management Dual Combined Administrator performs responsible professional work in the review of erosion and sediment control plans, storm water management plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) and associated drainage calculations; conducts inspections during construction of development projects to ensure compliance with County and other regulated codes; conducts post-construction inspections of storm water management facilities for compliance with County and other related codes; enforces County and other related codes as applied to erosion and sediment control measures and storm water management facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections during construction of development projects to ensure compliance with County and other regulated codes.
- Conducts post-construction inspections of storm water management facilities for compliance with County and other related codes.
- Enforces County and other related codes as applied to erosion and sediment control measures and storm water management facilities.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of a two (2) year degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in erosion and sediment control and stormwater management is required.
- Certification as a Dual Combined Administrator through the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
