Compensation:$20 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:- Open Client Electronic and Client Paper Files
- Prepare and Organize Files for Associate Attorneys ahead of proceedings
- Open, sort, scan, save/route mail
- Email correspondence to Clients, Attorneys, Pro Se Parties, Judicial Assistants
- Answer telephones; screen Attorney calls; take detailed messages
- Assist Paralegals and Associate Attorneys with copying and scanning for Deadlines, Mediations, Court, Client Meetings, Collaborative Meetings
- Review daily Appointments and Reminders
- Create contacts and update contact information in Case Management System or Contact Management System
- Follow-up with providers to facilitate receipt of records
- Review additional projects to be accomplished and calendared
- Case and Administrative filing
- Close Client Electronic and Client Paper Files
- Positive attitude

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Detail-oriented with high standards of excellence
- Adept at using various systems and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel), Podium, Clio Grow, Clio Manage, DropBox, mypleadings, Wealth Counsel, etc.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Assistant in the areas of Family Law and/or Elder Law
- Experience assisting Attorneys, Paralegals, Client Relations Specialists, and other staff in preparing cases and case management from beginning to end – from Client Intake through Closing Files
