Job Description
Architectural Designer to work on commercial projects. Must be able to communicate directly with clients and lead a project from schematic design through construction administration. This is an in-office position in Bellaire, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Code Reviews
- Accurate preparation of construction documents
- Assist in presentation meetings and provide some degree of direct client relationship
- Coordinate with consultants and team members
- Self-directed Revit input and checking
- Outline specifications
- Shop drawing and submittal review
- Supervision of other team members
- Communications with management, clients, consultants, and contractors related to daily business operations
Qualifications
Ideal candidate would have 5 to 10 years of experience and be skilled in the latest version of AutoCAD. 2-5 years of Revit experience preferred, with heavy experience in architectural construction document production. Candidate must have strong communication, analytical, and writing skills. Graphic experience strongly preferred for architectural marketing renderings.
