Equipment Dispatcher

Overview

Reports to the Equipment Manager and is responsible for the scheduling, tracking and dispatching of equipment for the Equipment Department.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the ordering, scheduling, tracking and dispatching of equipment for projects.
• Enters all PO’s and pricing into Computer Ease, B2W, and COINS on a daily basis.
• Assist with reporting and tracking of equipment.
• Assist with data entry and updating equipment tracking solution.
• Assist with other duties and tasks in the Equipment Department as assigned and as required.
• Extensive experience in heavy equipment rental
• Proven track record of working with vendors to negotiate pricing and terms
• Strong skills in vendor management and relationship building
• Expertise in pricing strategies for equipment rental
• Ability to oversee and manage heavy equipment rental operations efficiently

Qualifications

• Some college coursework preferred.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to the construction industry.
• One year of administrative experience.
• Ability to multi-task, and complete tasks on an accurate and timely manner.
• Spanish bilingual (written/verbal) preferred.
• Ability to streamline processes through necessary skill sets.
• Strong ability to work well in a variety of team environments.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and computer skills
• Must be able to multi-task and have excellent communication skills
