The Senior Human Resources Manager is expected to work closely with the Human Resources Director and mid to senior level management within the organization to drive organization culture, deliver strategic solutions, and scalable processes, enhancing the Human Resource functionalities for Boudreau. This position works closely with the Human Resources team to drive operational excellence and process optimization results. The ideal candidate possesses solid skills within the fundamental pillars of Human Resources (Employee life cycle management, benefits, and talent development)
Responsibilities
- Support the Human Resources team in providing a high quality and proactive service to both internal and external customers, meeting both corporate and statutory requirements, encompassing aspects of employee relations, benefits administration, employee development and reward and adding value in support of company objectives.
- Create and support retention initiatives by executing programs developed to improve associate morale, satisfaction, and productivity. Contribute fully to the business planning process and ensure human resources strategy is aligned with business goals.
- May provide HR and management training; counsels managers and associates on policy interpretation and application to ensure compliance.
- Assists managers in evaluating associate performance issues and provides direction on corrective actions and documentation.
- Compiles and analyzes reports from HRIS system related to position, or as directed.
- Actively participates with HR Director in selection and/or implementation of systemic advancements or efficiency changes regarding ATS, HRIS, PMP, LMS and/or communications.
- Support the HR Director in ensuring that the company remains fully compliant with changes to employment laws and practices and that these practices are implemented consistently.
- Provides advice and guidance to the site leadership team on best practices in human resource management and compliance with employment legislation and internal security and audit procedure.
- Escalates issues and concerns to HR Leader as appropriate.
- Participates in other HR functions as a part of a team.
- Performs other duties as directed.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years’ experience in Human Resources with strong leadership and hands-on capabilities in employee relations, talent management, benefits administration, etc.
- Proven ability to resolve complex problems by leveraging business/HR knowledge.
- Demonstrates a “can do” attitude with the ability to balance conflicting points of view, function effectively under pressure and demonstrate discretion, integrity, and fair-mindedness.
- Ability to anticipate business needs, think proactively and respond appropriately.
- May be assigned as a subject-matter expert on one or more human resource disciplines for the company.
- Strong experience working within HR to develop a culture of cooperation, teamwork, and open communication at all levels.
- Excellent written, verbal, follow up, communication and organization skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.
- Strong ability to work well in a variety of team environments.
- Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and computer skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and have excellent communication skills.
- Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
Pay Range: $120k - $150k based on experience
