Overview
The Boudreaux Law Firm is looking for a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This position is involves supporting the attorneys throughout the litigation process, communicating with clients, judge's staff, and opposing attorney's staff and managing files and file documents. The job requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of legal procedures, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files and evidence.
- Preparing pleadings and correspondence to clients.
- Manage legal documents through document management systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in accordance with established deadlines.
- Maintain case management systems to track deadlines, court dates, and other critical information.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation related to their case.
- Communicating with Judge's offices and other law offices to coordinate and schedule litigation events.
Qualifications
- Experience in handling litigation files, especially divorce/adoption/custody/other family law cases.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with document management systems and best practices for managing sensitive information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,102.00 - $60,500.00 per year
