Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with a degree in Finance or Accounting to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes, including VAT, sales tax, and corporate tax returns.
• Monitor and manage company accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Assist in the budgeting process by providing insights into financial trends and forecasts.
• Collaborate with auditors during the year-end audit process to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or potential areas for improvement.
• Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial regulations.
• Participate in the preparation of management reports and assist senior management in financial decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related role (6 months).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial analysis tools.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) is a plus.
