Boulder City Hospital is seeking a full time Business Systems Analyst
$29-39 Per Hour!
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under the supervision and direction of the Boulder City IT System/Security Manager, The Financial Systems Analyst will support the financial departments and IT initiatives in the hospital and its affiliates. This role will have a substantial impact to the hospital’s revenue cycle. Some of these operational impacts include but are not limited to serving as the point of contact for financial service requests (SRs) for Cerner EHR systems and eClinicalworks. This role will work in tandem to assist with identified system issues, service requests, reporting, technical report writing, testing new systems as well as testing current systems and upgrades. The Analyst position may also be asked to offer training sessions related to system changes, Microsoft or email tutorials. This position will support and back up the Clinical Systems Analyst, with focus information related to financial systems and reporting for the hospital and its affiliates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to work under sustained pressure and during stressful situations. This role will perform responsible and moderately complex mid-level duties by overseeing and troubleshooting technical operations that impact clinical areas of the hospital and its affiliates. This is done by assisting with general PC, Microsoft office training assistance, trouble-shooting system issues, logging/monitoring service requests with EHR vendors, reporting and technical report writing. The Financial Analyst will also assist the IT department with testing, implementing and supporting financial information used for the delivery of billing, patient AR and Accounting. This position must offer great customer service to hospital and its affiliates and acts as a liaison between departments, IT and vendors related to system issues resolution and training.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Two years Health Care system experience preferred.
- Two or more years of recent IT Services experience preferred.
