GENERAL PURPOSE : The Certified Nursing Assistant performs selected patient care activities. The Certified Nursing Assistant is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and provides various patient care activities and non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Must be capable of physically assisting patients, dealing with patient emergencies, and working as a member of a clinical team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Ability to lift, walk, carry and stand. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are represented of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
