Poolside Server and Expeditor – Seasonal
The Poolside Server is responsible for creating an exceptional experience for members and guests by providing food and beverage services including serving alcoholic beverages in the Club’s Deep-end Restaurant. The ideal candidate is well organized with strong communication skills able to cope well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
This position is seasonal from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
Responsibilities:
Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests and promptly record all transactions in the POS system.
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the entire food menu, including allergens and options for guests with dietary restrictions.
Conduct basic kitchen duties including expediting orders.
Ensuring accurate fulfillment of Grab and Go orders.
Provide excellent service by greeting members and guests by name.
Consistently comply with state, local, and club laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol
Ensure adequate supplies and stock are maintained in the server station, expo line, and grab & go area throughout shift
Follow and complete opening and closing checklists for assigned areas including daily and weekly cleaning duties.
Report comments or complaints to a manager on duty as they occur.
Maintain and clean equipment, keep all areas clean and organized.
Liaise between front of house and back of house teams to ensure a smooth dining experience.
Any and all other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Basic knowledge of liquors, beer, and wine
Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays.
Attention to detail including excellent memory for names and faces.
Punctual and professional in manner and appearance.
Work independently and as part of a team
Previous serving or expo experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly wage is $13.55 plus tips.
