Description :

Boulder Imaging is seeking an IT System Technician to contribute to delivering and supporting our core IT infrastructure, business systems and applications, and cutting-edge machine vision / AI inspection technology. Our future team member will assist in end-user support, configuration and delivery of systems for various projects, utilize tools for server configuration, troubleshooting, and diagnose software, networking, and hardware issues. This team member will also assist with IT Operations, Service Delivery, Configuration Management, and documentation.

Requirements : Key Responsibilities

Implement, support, and document server systems (chiefly running Microsoft Windows) and other IT equipment (UPS, PDUs, switches, etc.).
Perform initial system configuration to facilitate system bring-up and hand-off.
Ensure server performance and security.
Conduct regular system patching, updates, and upgrades.
Monitor system configuration to prevent interruptions and breakdowns.
Assist with automation improvements the process of server configuration.
Provide technical support, guidance, and documentation.
Follow procedures and complete related quality records.

Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge of server hardware and software tool sets.

Proficient with configuration of computer / network systems and software.

Experience with networking and patch management.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Ability to troubleshoot power, network, and system-oriented challenges.

Experience with server hardware (Supermicro / Dell).

Experience with LSI / Avago / Broadcom / PERC HBA / RAID controllers.

Experience with out of band server management (Supermicro IPMI / Dell iDRAC).

Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization.

Experience with bare metal imaging solutions (e.g., Acronis, Rescuezilla, etc.).

Prior experience in computer vision, wind energy, or manufacturing industries is a plus.

Plus : Experience with configuration management systems (e.g. WSUS, SCCM, IntuneIT Sus, Chef, Puppet, Ansible).

Plus : Experience in relational database management, backup, and replication (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

Education and Work Experience

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, and related Microsoft certification.

Ideally 2-5 years of experience in related fields such as server configuration and deployment.

Salary

60,000 - $75,000 / year
