Boulder Imaging is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to contribute to the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge vision-based inspection, metrology, and high-performance digital video recording technology.
Our future team member will help lead the efforts in using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to derive insights from large and complex datasets. Build, implement and maintain predictive models through their full lifecycle. Take ownership of the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, analyses, and dashboards. Identify patterns & trends in data and provide insights to enhance business decision making. Identify challenges and opportunities from client strategy discussions and take ownership of solutions.

- Solid mathematical foundation/educational background.
- Experience in the following programming languages: Python, R.
- Experience in the following developer tools: GIT
- Highly motivated and willing to devote time and effort to accelerated learning.
- Exposure at the professional level to most, or all, of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work in team set up with emphasis on collaboration and mentoring.
- Expertise or awareness of machine learning algorithms
- Experience in any of the following frameworks: PyTorch, OpenCV, Pandas, Keras
- Experience developing applications that are extensible, scalable, performant, and maintainable.
- Prior experience in computer vision and data visualization is a plus.
- BS or MS Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent
- Ideally 3-5 years of experience in machine learning and data engineering.
$130,000 - $138,000/year
