What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Care Coordinator position at Boulder Longevity Institute?
Position: Client Care Coordinator
Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Location: Boulder, CO
Compensation: $20 - $28 per hour
Boulder Longevity Institute (BLI) is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and client-care-focused individual to join the BLI team. As a part of the BLI team, we strive to hire and grow our team with like-minded individuals who are equally passionate about optimizing their own health as they are about helping others. We are looking for dependable, intelligent, motivated individuals, interested in professional growth, personal development, and making a difference in the world. You will have the opportunity to dive into various aspects of the BLI Ecosystem, including providing Clinical Support, managing Client Care and Communication, and supporting Operational Efficiencies.
Who Should NOT Apply
BLI is a truly unique organization, and we're seeking a specific type of individual to join our team and become part of the BLI Family. Over time, we've learned that finding the right fit can be challenging, and the process can sometimes feel like a significant investment of time and energy for both applicants and our team.
To help streamline the process and ensure a positive experience for everyone, we've decided to begin our job postings with a list of characteristics that may indicate the role isn't the best fit. Our goal is to provide clarity upfront and save time for everyone involved.
- You do not like to laugh and can not laugh at yourself
- You are not into, and we mean really into, learning the coolest and newest science about longevity and staying healthy and optimized
- You are not into people - helping them, delighting them, changing their lives, and being kind to them, even when they are hurting, scared, or in general being a bit of a pain in the ass
- You are not bright and quick on the uptake - this stuff can get involved - if you don't catch on quickly, it can be tedious and just not fun. We want our team members to have fun.
- You can't do basic math e.g. a client is taking 2 pills a day, how many pills for 90 days - if you needed a calculator, don't apply.
- You do not like to problem-solve and innovate
- You are just looking for a job, not a career. Our goal for this position is to, over time and with training, turn this role into a physician-extender position. If you don't think the possibility of you being in a provider-type role is really, really cool - don't apply.
- If you think the current healthcare system has its issues, but overall works fine, and that generally, people are pretty darn healthy - don't apply.
Please do not take any of the above the wrong way - we are trying to change the future of healthcare and we need the right people in the right seats on the bus to achieve this - after nineteen years in business we have a pretty good idea who those people are, so please do not take offense. If after going through the above you are still interested and think you are a fit, please read on and please consider applying.
