The Boulder Rock Club is hiring a Programming Supervisor. This is a Full Time Hourly position with benefits and the opportunity for growth within the company. Job has flexible hours.
General
The Programming Supervisor will work with the General Manager to maintain a high standard of offerings including: after school program, adult classes, birthday parties, summer camps, all groups and special events. Job has very flexible hours, some nights and occasional weekends will be required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the instructional staff
- Curriculum development and improvement for all indoor events, parties, groups, corporate events, summer camps
- Manage events, parties, youth groups, corporate events, summer camps
- Scheduling staff
- Booking/reservations/payment
- Participant tracking
- Marketing, advertising, promotion in conjunction with Media Coordinator
- Software management (Rock Gym Pro, Rippling, Microsoft Office)
Miscellaneous Responsibilities
- Office duties as needed for operational execution of the club and its offerings
- Additional duties as needed to support the position and the BRC
- Assist with day to day of working in a climbing gym, helping Front Desk, assisting other departments, special projects, etc.
Reporting Structure
- Position reports to General Manager
Required
- Minimum 2 years working in a climbing gym
- Minimum 2 years climbing experience, lead climbing indoors required
- Experience teaching climbing
- Experience supervising employees
- Customer service experience
Compensation/Benefits
Position will be full-time hourly (approximately 32 hours a week) starting pay $25/hour and up, based on experience. Pay based on: time supervising employees, work experience, climbing gym experience and time in a similar role. Benefits include medical, dental and vision, 401K with company match, climbing benefits, Paid Time Off starting at 3 weeks a year.
