Job Overview: Join our team as a Surgical Implant Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of surgical implants, including procurement, inventory management, compliance, and coordination with surgical teams. Under general supervision, the Implant Coordinator ensures efficient operations, collaborates with internal teams, and supports the Procurement Manager with special projects as needed.

Wage: $29.81-32.69 per hour, commensurate with experience

Requirements
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Order and track surgical implants to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of implants.
- Administer programs, projects, and processes specific to implant inventory management.
- Assist the Procurement Manager with operational tasks and oversight of special projects.
- Coordinate with accounting and inventory staff to ensure timely deliverables.
- Work closely with the Materials Managers at the Boulder Surgery Center and Broomfield Orthopedic Surgery Center to process purchase orders, manage inventory, and ensure insurance company invoicing.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing deliveries, including FedEx/UPS shipments.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other basic accounting tasks.
- Prepare and submit regular reports pertaining to implant inventory management.
- Verify proper billing and charge capture for implants used in procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Resolve issues related to supply deliveries, returns, and related invoices.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred (healthcare administration or related field).
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience, with at least one year in a healthcare organization preferred.
Performance Requirements:
- Knowledge:
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct for tracking implant-related expenses, managing purchase orders, and ensuring accurate billing.
- Proficiency in inventory management to track implant stock and prevent shortages.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel for data analysis, inventory tracking, and financial reconciliation.

- Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Diplomacy, tact, and professionalism in interactions.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
- Abilities:

- Ability to handle confidential financial, patient, and vendor information with discretion.
- Ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and analyze relevant data.

- Competency in using QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
