Requirements
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiology program required; current registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (AART)(R)(MR)
Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in MRI preferred, and will cross train the right candidate in CT.
Other Requirements: Current CPR certification for Health Care Providers

Requirements
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures at a tech level in accordance with protocols
- Maintain proper quality control procedures
- Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to MRI exams and equipment
- Establish and maintain effective working relationship with patients, medical staff and the public
- Knowledge of concepts, standards, procedures and equipment
- Maintain a safe and appropriate work area. Maintain inventory of supplies.
- Adhere to employer work practices as described in TDC Occupational Exposure Plan
- Knowledge of basic patient care and activities that may be necessary during exam
- Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Work as a team member within the imaging department and all other departments
- Document work processes as required
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Knowledge and understanding of clinical magnetic resonance imaging and CT principles, procedures, techniques, and equipment.
- Knowledge of specifications, standards, and tolerances for the operation of MRI and CT equipment and facility
- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage interactions with difficult people.
- Ability to properly position patients to provide quality imaging.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to operate high field clinical magnetic resonance imaging and CT scanner.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, management and peers
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
