General Responsibilities
Compensation for this role ranges from $16-20 an hour in addition to revenue share bonuses and is determined by relevant experience to this role and our industry.
General Responsibilities
- Lead boots-on-the-ground grassroots marketing to integrate the gym into the local community and drive new customer acquisition, conversion to membership, and member retention through events
- Plan, strategize, and execute event programs throughout the year
- Work with the General Manager, local managers to create a calendar of events, workshops, specialty programs, partnerships, and local happenings to drive customer engagement, and proactively manage those events
- Manage public facing communication to our local community with regards to our upcoming events and work with marketing & operations to make sure event details are available to promote in a timely manner
- Lead local events, and serve as local lead for brand-wide events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, charity partners, event sponsors, affinity groups, businesses, schools, etc. to facilitate high-quality events and drive customer traffic
- Manage and drive event revenue and expense related to budget, collaboration with local management team, actively follow up and sell new memberships to potential clients/trial users
- Create event programming schedules, lead event advertising efforts and registrations, etc.
- Support marketing campaigns around events with distributing on-the-ground materials and operations training
- Stay abreast of the styles and cadence of competitors and other local events
- Maintain and order supplies for event programming
- Follow up on providing reporting and data regarding the success of events
- Other duties as assigned
- Many duties require the availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and events, including possible evenings and weekends.
- Working both inside and outside depending on the event.
- Regular duties occur during regular business hours.
- Occasional duties may be outside of business hours depending on event needs
