About You and the Role
As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will be the face of fun, creating a lasting experience for our campers. You will engage with children daily, helping create an inclusive and exciting camp for our participants that will allow them to find confidence within themselves and develop a new love for climbing.
\n- Collaborate with the Summer Camp Coordinator and Summer Camp Team to create an environment where campers feel valued and excited to learn.
- Greet campers daily with a smile, facilitate check-in and check-out each day of camp.
- Create a fun and playful environment where kids feel excited to explore, learn, and grow through climbing and movement activities.
- Lead and participate in dynamic and engaging games, crafts, snack time, and interactive activities throughout the duration of camp.
- Interact with parents clearly and confidently about their child’s progress, behavior, or any concerns, ensuring they feel informed and involved.
- Maintain energy and enthusiasm for both yourself and your campers.
- Resolve any small conflicts or distress calmly, reporting to the Summer Camp Coordinator if needed.
- Understand and implement our gym safety protocols, using risk management and prevention skills to maintain a safe environment.
- An enthusiasm for working with kids, a passion for helping campers build friendships, confidence, and connections.
- The skills needed to create a safe and inclusive environment for kids.
- A positive attitude and the energy to be all-in for our summer camps.
- Ability to calmly and clearly communicate with both campers and team members to address concerns and resolve misunderstandings.

Salary : $16 - $17
