The Boulders is actively looking for a dynamic Food and Beverage Manager for a world-renowned Hilton Curio Collection Resort. The property is well accredited Nationally and Internationally with tremendously successful and top-notch Food and Beverage outlets and services. Previous experience in the stated position is preferred.
The Boulders Resort and Spa is a large, high-end resort that spans an impressive 33,000 sq. ft. Offering a luxurious spa, championship golf, and exclusive service in a uniquely dramatic setting – 1,300 acres of the Sonoran Desert foothills with panoramic views of 12 million-year-old boulder formations. If that wasn't enough, our stylish restaurants offer captivating views from every turn and we are looking to expand our restaurant team.
The Food and Beverage is responsible for leading front and back of the house operations and short- and long-term planning of the resort restaurants. They will also be responsible for creating organizational planning, driving cleanliness standards, and guiding the overall vibe of the bar space. The role requires creativity, great people skills, and knowledge of food and beverage and labor cost controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage all outlets in terms of product, waste, and service efficiency.
- Prepare variance analysis for bar programs and communicate with relevant departments.
- Update and maintain systems.
- Check and verify cross-departmental transfers.
- Check cost of sales and ensure costs are within budget.
- Audit beverage reports accordingly.
- Spot check all meal periods to ensure consistency and quality of beverage offering.
- Develop, cost, train, and input recipes.
- Train teams on implementation of standards for bar organization and cleanliness.
- Update POS (Micros) as needed.

- Ensure communication is key and ensure daily stand-up meetings are held with associates in the various Food and beverage department areas. Passing along important information to them and giving them a voice in the process.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure flawless execution to create a destination-of-choice environment for both hotel and external guests.
- Look to increase revenues through the production and implementation of creative promotional programs, as well as upselling of options.
- Foster an environment of teamwork, and implement schedules to balance the need to manage business needs as well as associates’ needs.
- Meet with functional group leaders within the Food and Beverage departments to ensure everyone is prepared and headed for the same goals
