Position Description
- Maintain warehouse stock.
- Assist in fulfilling orders. Stage components based on pick sheets for customer orders.
- Monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations.
- Load and unload trucks. Confirm product deliveries with company purchase order. Work with inventory control and purchasing when deliveries do not match purchase order.
Requirements/Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to lift minimum of between 60 to 100 lbs.
- Current and valid OSHA forklift operation certificate
- Read a bill of materials and identify manufactured parts, sub-assemblies and purchased parts from it
- Ability to read a tape measure as well as part prints / routings, and accurately discern between parts
- Separate parts by sub assembly / routing and prep for each department
- Track and identify red tags, packing slips and plated parts that require extra care or expediting
- Separate & sort painted parts and prepare for assembly
- Pull purchased parts from the stockroom and write them out to appropriate jobs and projects / prepare purchased parts for each department
- Use a forklift to safely and carefully move material and equipment between departments
- Assist with loading of equipment on trucks for shipping, as well as general plant maintenance that requires use of a forklift
- Assist with unloading of raw material and purchased parts
- Restock unused material and purchased parts after a job’s completion, amend bill of materials if needed
- General computer knowledge, will use a tablet to view part prints and 3D layouts as well as view bill of materials and where used tools
- Work schedule includes occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgement.
