What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Cutter/Butcher position at BOULINEAUS INC?
Boulineau’s is currently recruiting for a Meat Cutter/Butcher. Associate will be responsible for cutting and packaging meat & seafood, waiting on customers, stock lunch meat according to food safety guidelines. Associate will assist with stocking retail area.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of opening and closing department procedures
Organize work area by obtaining appropriate items and equipment in advance to prevent waste and ensure a timely completion of task
Maintain working area in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
Interact effectively, in a friendly professional manner, and demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Communicate effectively with the Manager on a regular basis to share ideas, concerns, progress or problems.
Assist department employees in completing their tasks as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the department
Able to work in varied temperatures
Visual acuity sufficient to read product labels, coupons, and prices
Independent mobility within department
Standing and walking for 8-10 hours
Strength to lift, push, or pull objects weighing 50 pounds or less
Ability to work flexible schedule
Perform other duties as required

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
