Overview

The Server is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a focus on customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations.

Experience

• Previous serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.

• Experience handling high-volume service and multitasking efficiently.

• Familiarity with food and beverage menus, including upselling techniques.

• Experience serving alcoholic beverages in compliance with local laws.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid pouring permit as required by city/state regulations for handling alcohol.

• Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.

• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.

• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming dining experience.

• Take accurate food and drink orders and ensure timely delivery.

• Upsell menu items, including specials and add-ons, to enhance guest satisfaction.

• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, following all legal guidelines and ID verification requirements.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tables and service areas.

• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally.

• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.

• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and alcohol service protocols.

Flexibility

• Must be available for various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle unexpected challenges.

Customer Service

• Prioritize guest satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service.

Upselling
