Job Title: Production Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks, including regular manufacturing duties, assembly, disassembly, chemical mixing, and batching. This position requires a keen attention to detail, ability to listen to direction, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular manufacturing tasks, including operating machinery, monitoring production lines, and ensuring product quality standards are met.
• Assemble and disassemble components as required by production schedules and quality standards.
• Prepare and mix chemicals according to specified formulas and safety guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in production batches.
• Accurately measure and batch materials as per established processes and specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor equipment performance and notify supervisor of any malfunctions or issues to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products for quality control and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals and timelines are met.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications or training are a plus).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of chemical mixing, batching, and handling materials.
• Ability to operate production machinery and hand tools effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines and procedures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Physical stamina to lift, move, and assemble heavy materials as needed.
• Ability to troubleshoot and address minor equipment issues.
• Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime if required.
• This job requires a background check.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced production floor.
• Regular exposure to chemicals and other materials used in manufacturing.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
