What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surface Mount Technician (SMT) Rework position at BouMatic?
Performs any combination of the following duties of assemble and test of electronic boards.
- Depanel PCB’s using nonautomated equipment.
- Test/Programming PCB’s using computer programs
- Assist in verification and counting reels for SMT area.
- Assist on loading reels on feeders for SMT equipment
- Use of hand tools and wire cutters
- Applies coating or masking compound on PCB’s
- Through-hole soldering
- Prior experience using a microscope
- Soldering experience (highly preferred)
- Clean PCB’s assemblies throughout process
Working in a team environment
Attendance is important.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
