Bounce N Play is Pearlands newest indoor playground filled with soft play for babies and toddlers, multi-story playground equipment, a jumping pillow and more! Bounce N Play, a leading indoor playground for kids 10 and under, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team.
Pay and Availability:
Starting pay is $14 per hour plus tips when hosting events. We are looking for someone that can work 35-40 hours per week. Due to business needs the assistant manager will need to work every weekend. Shifts can range from 8-12 hour days.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the indoor playground, ensuring smooth functioning and exceptional customer experience.
- Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a secure and enjoyable environment for children and their families.
- Interact with customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving any issues, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Coordinate and oversee special events, parties, and activities hosted at the playground.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure proper stocking of supplies and merchandise.
- Assist in marketing efforts, including social media updates, and promotional activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the playground, ensuring it meets or exceeds hygiene standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, implementing new ideas to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent recommended; additional education or certification in child development or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred, and in a child-oriented environment, such as a playground, daycare, or recreational facility is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to children's play areas.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
