Schedule:
32 hrs per pay period - non-benefitted
Week 1: Thurs-Friday; 530 am- 2pm
Week 2: Thursday-Friday; 5:30am-2pm
60 hrs per pay period; Benefitted
Week 1: Monday-Tuesday and Saturday; 0830am-7pm
Week 2: Sun-Tuesday;; 0830-7pm
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
As an important member of our team, the Dietary Aide provides assistance in all food service function to ensure patients’ dining needs are met in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and Boundary Hospital Values.
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions
- Helping assist in meal prep.
- Serve Meals
- Dining Room clean-up after meal service
- Washing Dishes, Pots & Pans and Storing them
- You will need to be able to follow specific dietary conditions such as: low sodium, Diabetic, food allergies, food preferences, adaptive equipment needs (training provided)
- Weekly/Monthly Cleaning in accordance with policy
- Stocking the Units with food supplies
- Training for this position is provided
- Ability to work independently but as a team player
Qualifications
Education/ Experience Requirements:
- Food handler’s permit or Serve Safe Food Safety Certification Required (can be obtained upon hire)
- Prior institutional Foodservice experience desired, but not required
- Required to submit a background check & be cleared to work in the facility
