Summary / Objective

The Operational and Clinical Excellence Partner will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of our clinical / behavioral health services. This position will collaborate closely with clinical staff, leadership, and external stakeholders to promote best practices, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to clinical standards and guidelines.

Essential Functions

Clinical Excellence and Improvement :

  • Research, implement, and support fidelity to evidence-based treatment modalities across clinical programs to improve quality, effectiveness, and consistency.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of clinical records.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance clinical practice.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and SOPs to support clarity in practices and expectations across behavioral health service delivery.
  • Offer training and educational opportunities to staff on evidence-based practices, clinical skills, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate case consultations related to specifical treatment modalities or populations.

Program Development and Evaluation :

  • Participate in the development and evaluation of new programs and services to support implementation of best practices.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop, implement, and support fidelity of evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • External Relations :

  • Represent the agency at professional conferences and meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, healthcare providers, and community partners.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in the field of behavioral health.
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures in addition to regulations, laws and other requirements from applicable governing bodies, certification, licensure and / or accreditation entities, etc.
  • This position will be remote but will often be on-site to conduct program observations, evaluations, trainings, and other activities across behavioral health and residential treatment programs. Programs will be throughout Ohio and consist of outpatient, center / facility based, and residential treatment environments.

  • Supervisory Duties

    This position will not have direct reports or supervisory responsibilities. However, this position will be responsible for providing guidance, feedback, and training.

    Education, Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Master's degree in a human services field (e.g., health care, social services, psychology, behavioral science, social work or counseling).
  • Five or more years of clinical experience with individuals with behavioral health issues; preferably experience with co-occurring diagnoses of developmental disabilities and / or autism.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations for services for behavioral health, developmental disability, and autism.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for improving the lives of individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Must have reliable transportation. Valid Ohio Driver's License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of car insurance; insurable driving record (five points or fewer).
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Doctorate degree in a human services field (e.g., health care, social services, psychology, behavioral science, social work or counseling).
  • Independently licensed professionals licensed in the State of Ohio (LISW, LPCC, Psychologist, or IMFT).
  • Two or more years of experience with compliance and quality initiatives preferred

    Work Hours : This is a full-time position working at least 40 hours per week. Hours of work and days have flexibility, but are primarily Monday through Friday between 8 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. Given the nature of treatment programs / services, occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

    Travel Requirements : Travel is regular throughout the state during the business day, with some out-of-the-area and overnight travel expected on occasion.
