Job Summary:
Bourbon & Bones Lounge – Square One Concepts, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Busser to join the team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and supporting the servers to ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Clear and reset tables in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that the dining area is clean and presentable for the next guests.
- Assist the waitstaff with bringing food and beverages to tables, as well as refilling water glasses and other beverages.
- Communicate effectively with the waitstaff to ensure that they have the necessary supplies and equipment to provide excellent service to our guests.
- Assist with cleaning duties, including sweeping, and mopping the floors, taking out the trash, and restocking supplies.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling and disposal of dishes and utensils, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guests' requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all aspects of the dining experience are exceptional for our guests.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation protocols in a restaurant environment
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems – Aloha, Hot schedule and Paylocity.
Education and Experience:
- Must be at least sixteen years old.
- Previous experience as a busser or similar position in a fine dining restaurant is preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
