Child Care Worker

QUALIFICATIONS:  1. High School Graduate or GED required.

1. Experience working with school age children preferred.

REPORTS TO: Director of Family Resource Center/Child Care Director

SUPERVISES: N/A

JOB GOAL: To provide a quality child care program that meets state and district

                                        guidelines and requirements.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in carrying out program goals and objectives.

1. Develops, facilitates, and carries out daily planned activities.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
3. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
4. Maintain order and cleanliness of child care environment.
5. Obtain First Aid and CPR training and certification.
6. Obtain 15 hours or more of state approved professional training annually.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:    To be determined by supervisor

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually.
