Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle cash transactions efficiently.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent hospitality, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or related hospitality roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cocktail preparation is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling cash register operations and processing payments accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a high-energy environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial to ensure safe service standards.
