Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for guest services and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have everything they need for an enjoyable meal.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
• Provide recommendations for menu items and upsell specials to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by sanitizing surfaces regularly.
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe dining environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
• Experience with POS systems for order entry and payment processing is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Capability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales opportunities.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is advantageous but not required.
