The downtown Fort Worth law firm of Bourland, Wall & Wenzel is seeking a highly organized and proactive full-time Office Manager. The Office Manager guides and manages a variety of general office functions, staff support, and administrative services. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with a strong understanding of office management and HR processes. The position consists of a variety of functions, such as human resources, facilities, recruitment and event planning.
Applicants should possess prior office experience in management or human resources, strong administrative and organizational skills, excellent planning and time management, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficient computer skills. This position will report the CFO and require the ability to make difficult judgement calls, to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality, and display a high-level of tact and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day office operations and certain administrative staff.
Implements and maintains policies, procedures, and promotes our Firm Culture and Core Values.
On-board / Off-board employees.
Facilities management.
Manages vendors and suppliers for the office.
Create and distribute weekly Firm newsletter.
Involvement in planning Firm social events by serving as a member of the Social Committee.
Maintain employee handbook.
Assist the CFO in general office administrative matters.
