Job Summary:
Perform semi-skilled building maintenance; assist Maintenance Mechanic with repairs when required and perform all laborer work. Works under the Direction of the Executive Director and Maintenance Mechanic. Also, supervised by an employee of higher grade, who assigns duties and reviews work when required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deep cleaning of empty units during turnover process. Repairs to damage and at times painting of unit.
- Grounds work, such as grass cutting and trimming, street cleaning, shrub cutting or trimming, weeding, snow shoveling and/or using walking hand snow blower.
- Trash removal, as required.
- Cleaning and care of public hallways and walkways, windows, community buildings, laundry rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and other routine daily maintenance of janitorial work.
- Ability to work without supervision when required.
Qualification Requirements
- General knowledge of maintenance, custodial duties & landscaping.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Some experience in the mechanical or construction field.
- Ability to use tools and perform work of a semi-skilled nature.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work well with the residents of the Bourne Housing Authority.
- Any licenses highly desirable. Must have MA Driver's License that is valid. Background and Cori will be processed.

Work week is Monday through Friday and on call every other weekend. This position is offering $32.00 per hour.
