We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Attorney Recruitment and Development to join the Firm Administration team in our Syracuse Office.
Annual Salary Range : $85 – $100K
Primary Responsibilities :
- Oversee and implement Summer Associate and lateral Associate recruiting efforts.
- Schedule and attend recruiting programs and interview sessions.
- Work with firm management and practice group leaders in evaluating hiring needs.
- Researching and reporting market information as it relates to Associate hiring.
- Oversee Associate integration, to ensure a smooth transition from onboarding to practice.
- Design, develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive programs to train, mentor, develop and retain Associates.
- Design, develop, implement, and monitor programs aimed at enhancing Associate professional and client service skills, as well as technical and practice-specific legal competencies.
- Measure and assess the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring alignment with firm objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with Firm management, Practice Group Leaders, and Members to identify training and development needs.
- Oversee the firm's mentorship program fostering a culture of support and professional growth.
- Act as an advisor to Associates, conducting follow-up, and troubleshooting issues, if needed.
- Develop, lead, and facilitate Associate evaluation process.
- Maintain external relationships to stay current with industry trends and developments.
