Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, managing patient records, verifying insurance information, collecting co-payments, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the reception area, acting as the primary point of contact for patients within a medical office while ensuring confidentiality of medical information.
Experience in a Chiropractic office is a preferred but not required.
Experience with IMS Meditab software is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Check-in: Greet patients upon arrival, verify their identity, and collect necessary information like insurance details and co-pays.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments based on doctor availability, manage cancellations and rescheduling requests.
- Phone Management: Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate staff, and take messages.
- Patient Record Management: Update and maintain patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for procedures.
- Billing and Collections: Process patient payments, collect co-pays, and handle billing inquiries.
- Front Desk Operations: Maintain a clean and organized reception area, manage patient flow, and ensure office supplies are stocked.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork, file documents, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills:
