About the Role
As the General Manager, you are the driving force behind the studio’s success. Your mission is to build a thriving membership base, exceed sales goals, and cultivate a passionate community of wellness enthusiasts. This role emphasizes taking proactive action—making 50 sales calls daily, leading grassroots marketing initiatives, and networking to position our studio as the go-to local wellness hub in Albany.
Under your leadership, the studio will become a place of transformation where members feel inspired, connected, and motivated.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Growth
- Lead membership sales, renewals, and upgrades to achieve revenue targets.
- Generate leads through daily outreach calls, grassroots marketing, and community engagement.
- Train and develop a high-performing sales team focused on delivering exceptional results.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring prospects become loyal members.
Community Engagement
- Act as the studio’s primary representative, networking with local businesses, organizations, and wellness influencers.
- Organize and lead community events to introduce the studio to Albany and attract new members.
- Foster strong relationships with members, encouraging them to become brand ambassadors.
- Assist in planning and executing local events to promote studio visibility and generate leads.
- Manage the studio’s social media presence (Instagram, Facebook), creating engaging content to attract and retain members.
- Respond promptly and professionally to social media inquiries, comments, and messages.
- Utilize provided marketing platforms to distribute communications, including emails and newsletters, to inform members about studio updates, events, and promotions.
- Track and analyze social media and grassroots marketing performance, adjusting strategies for optimal impact.
Operational Excellence
- Recruit, train, and mentor studio staff to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Maintain an organized, polished studio environment that runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with studio ownership to set ambitious sales targets and strategic plans.
- Professionally handle member feedback, resolving issues with lasting solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in Sales or a high-energy, sales-focused role.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals.
- Demonstrated experience in grassroots marketing, community networking, and local brand building.
- Ability to create strategic partnerships and effective member retention strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across phone, in-person, and digital platforms.
